Gmc Yukon XL Road Bike

With the entire GMC bike, the GMC Yukon XL 700C 14-Speed Road Bike is specially built around a very lightweight aluminum 6061 frame (a 20-, 22-, or 25-inch frame) with a Shimano tourney 14-speed gearing. This new GMC Yukon XL road bike specially features a Vitesse racing saddle with a built-in alloy seat post to make your ride comfortable and Vitesse aluminum rims. Also, it is packed with an alloy crank set and Shimano STI shifters.

GMC Yukon XL road bike has also an aero fork to make it a good racing bike. The special alloy frames are also torsionally stiffer that can make faster transfer of energy when you pedal with good efficiency. So, the energy you put on pedaling is efficiently transferred to the wheel. It is not only light but it serves other purpose. When talking about braking and shifting, Shimano STI shifters are in-charge to the tasks; because of their integrated brake levers it allows you to control the bike smoothly. The gearing and braking are put in one location now. The GMC Yukon XL road bike also has a strong and light wheel set made of alloy with Kenda tires which is superior in traction and in braking response.

The integrated Sora STI shift/brake mechanism alone will cost you 100 bucks. The bike itself is of course heavy (approximately 26 lbs) compared to those bikes with titanium or composite forks and frames. However with superb physical fitness benefits, one can’t avoid the worthy satisfaction feeling when getting ahead of ill-conditioned bikers commonly seen on expensive rides with USPS jerseys, Discovery Channel jerseys and other popular jerseys.

The GMC Yukon XL road bike only disadvantage is it being a partially assembled bike. You can’t expect a highly tuned bike with this being partially assembled. Customers will have the final installation of other parts and can result to wrong installation. I did receive an inadequately tuned bike. It can’t shift from small to big chain ring. However, being a handy bike itself is good.

The height is only 5’8 and it perfectly fits me. You will notice at first that the drop bar position is very uncomfortable. But as you get use of it, this would be not a problem anymore. The GMC Yukon XL road bike is good to beginners as well as experience riders. Also, take note that the seat maybe uncomfortable to you at first because it’s like sitting on a brick, but you can always make it softer if you like.
